The islands of Hawaii are blessed with mild weather basically year round with only two seasons, summer (April to October) and Winter (November to March). During the summer, the Princeville Resort area averages daytime highs in the 80s and at night in the low 70s.
Winter averages are in the low to mid 70s during the day and at night in the low 60s. Not exactly chilly, but cool enough to wear a sweater. Water temperatures during summer are usually about 80 degrees and in the winter, about 73 degrees.
The Princeville Resort receives an average of 85 inches of rain, which sounds like a great deal of rain, but rather like Camelot, it usually doesn’t fall until the sun goes down. Showers generally are brief and as you look around you at the lush, green plants and trees, the jungle areas and the mountains with their waterfalls after a rain, it’s really not such a bad thing at all.
