Event Description:
The Waipa Foundation invites you to our 2012 Kalo Festival on Saturday, December 1st from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. E komo mai! Please join us for a community ho'olaulea at Waipa's beautiful Halulu Fishpond, alongside Hanalei Bay! A fun and informative day celebrating KALO with activities for the whole family including educational displays and demonstrations, hands-on KEIKI activities, unique Kauai ARTISANS, and, of course, AMAZING food showcasing KALO! Community contests for best Kalo recipe and biggest kalo! HOME GROWN LIVE MUSIC ALL DAY!

Admission just $3 for ADULTS and $1 for keiki under 12. Gate fees benefit WAIPA Foundation, a living learning center focused on taking care of our natural resources, practicing Hawaiian culture and values, and inspiring healthy keiki and community. A hui hou. See you there!
